Before the massage
Complete the online take form sent to the email you provided me. Please read each question and answer honestly as certain aspects of massage therapy are not indicated for some conditions. Failure to complete the intake form in its entirety may result in the cancellation of your appointment.

 

If you are feeling ill
If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness – fever, vomiting, sore throat, cough, body aches, chills, etc. – please contact me to reschedule your appointment. Not only is it considerate to keep your germs to yourself, but it is possible that receiving massage therapy during your illness will make your symptoms worse.

 

During the massage
Let the therapist (me) know if you are experiencing any pain. Some discomfort is expected, but pain does not always mean progress.
Draping is required for every client.
The massage therapy provided at my business is professional and non-sexual. Inappropriate behavior or comments may lead to termination of the massage without the possibility of a refund.

 

Minors
A parent must be present when anyone under 18 years of age is receiving massage therapy without exception.

 

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are only redeemable by bringing them to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in you paying for the session.

 

Late arrivals
Being punctual is important as the work I do requires the full session. To ensure you receive your full session, please show up 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment EVERY TIME so a proper intake can be done. Clients running late may not receive the full treatment time and are expected to pay full price for the service.

 

Cancellation/no-show policy
I understand that situations arise and you may need to cancel your appointment. If that happens, I ask that you give 24 hours notice. This will give me enough time to offer the open appointment to other waiting clients.

Appointments cancelled within the 24-hour time period may be subject to a $45 cancellation fee.

Clients who do not show up for their appointment without communicating with me or clients who cancel after their appointment has started will be considered a NO SHOW and are expected to pay 100% of the session price. 

Cancellation and no-show fees are the client’s responsibility and must be paid in full before being able to book again. All future bookings will require a non-refundable prepayment.

I understand that there are special circumstances that may cause clients to cancel within the 24 hours. Fees may be waived with approval from me depending on the circumstance.
